Summary
A collection of well-known productivity wisdom.
In order to achieve Essentialism, one must:
- book time to think and explore
- explore many options in order to distinguish truly great opportunities from merely great ones (similar to the Filed Stone writing method by Gerald Weinberg)
- read more books
- keep a journal
- understand the trade-offs of options
- understand choice is an action, not an object to own and keep
- play to recreate childhood excitement. What were the things that excited you when you were a child? (I was crazy about reading magazines, drawing, video games and comic books, what about you?)
- decline non-essential requests
- be present
